Texas A and M just couldn't execute with precision to beat the Georgia Bulldogs in the Independence Bowl. Georgia beat the Texas Aggies 44-20 much to the dismay of Texas Aggies fans. The Aggies Bowl game loss seals their 2009 season record at 6-7 and makes it the fourth straight post season loss for the Aggies football team.

From a Texas Aggies fan perspective it was almost embarrassing the way special teams executed and Jerrod Johnson did not look like the stellar quarterback we had seen in previous games.

The Aggies football team finished fifth in the Big 12's South Division and this Texas Aggies fan is looking forward to an even better Aggies season in 2010. The Texas Aggies Football season ended with a 6-6 record. Head Coach Mike Sherman was hoping for a little better showing this season, but was thankful for all of the College Station support. In fact, at home on Kyle Field, the Texas Aggies were 5-2, losing both home games by 10 points or less.
