Kyle Field , home to the Texas A&M Aggies, has one of the biggest student sections in college football! All of the three levels on the east side of the stadium make up the student section of Kyle Field. The band sits at the 50 yard line in sections 141 and 142, behind the visitors bench, and the student section is located all around the band. The student section at Kyle Field gets super loud while the Aggies are on defense, which makes the visiting team nervous, possibly making them go to a silent snap count! This gives the Aggies a huge home field advantage!
To sit in the student section, students get tickets based on the class status, seniors getting first dibs, the sooner you get to pull your tickets, the better seats you get. Kyle Field and the student section at Kyle Field are known as the “Home of the 12th Man” with the students being the 12th Man. The “12th Man” references the student section supporting the Aggie team, being the equivalent of an extra player. The 12th Man stands during the whole football game to show their support. The Aggies have a tradition that every time the team scores, everybody scores, so after each new scoring of points, students kiss their dates.
Get in on the action in the Kyle Field student section! Be a part of the outrageous and crazy atmosphere and fun traditions of Kyle Field and the Texas A&M Aggies! If you don’t have a student ID, don’t worry, you can get your tickets right here! GO AGGIES!
