Garrick Damon Williams was born in DeSoto, Texas on October 26, 1989. Garrick Williams played football for DeSoto High School. During Garrick Williams high school senior year he made 25 catches for 436 yards and three touchdowns as a wide receiver. Garrick Williams was named All-Region by PrepStar and ranked in the Top 100 in Texas by the Maroon & White report.

Garrick Williams joined the Texas A&M football team in 2007. During that season Garrick Williams was redshirted. In 2008, the 6’2” 217 lbs linebacker played in five Aggie games. Garrick Williams made 36 tackles which 21 were solo. #32 forced a fumble against Texas Tech Raiders that led to a touchdown.
